Triumphant Student Scholarship

At Bloc One Services, LLC, we want to celebrate aspiring lawyers and legal professionals of diverse backgrounds. We recognize that some minority groups face unjust discrimination in higher education or other areas of society, which can stand in the way of getting a degree. To help bridge this gap for students, we are opening the Triumphant Student Scholarship to minority high school seniors applying to college for political science or a prelaw, as well as minority college students who have been accepted into law school for the Spring 2026 semester.

If you are interested in applying for the scholarship, please review our eligibility requirements listed below before submitting your response. No applications will be considered past the deadline of November 26, 2025. The winner of the scholarship will receive an award of $1,000 to be put towards his or her tuition, class supplies, or other educational expenses.

Eligibility for the Triumphant Student Scholarship

The Triumphant Student Scholarship is open to students who meet all of the following criteria:

  • You must be a minority who is either an incoming college freshman pursuing a degree in political science or other pre-law major OR a college student who is planning to attend law school.
  • You must be attending college through the Spring 2026 semester at an accredited establishment within the United States.
  • You must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • You must be at least 17 years old.
  • You must be a citizen of the United States.

Applying for the Triumphant Student Scholarship

In the digital application below, you will be asked to attach proof of your acceptance or enrollment at an accredited university or law school. We will accept a copy of your acceptance letter, unofficial transcript, or class schedule as proof.

This response should be attached as a YouTube link, Google Drive attachment, or .MOV file with a runtime of no more than three minutes.

Additionally, we require that all applicants submit a video response to the following prompt:

Tell us about a past failure in your life. What has that failure taught you, and how will it help you succeed in the future?

Application Evaluation

Our judges will evaluate your video response based on the following criteria:

  • Does your video answer the provided prompt in a coherent and effective manner?
  • Is your video response focused, organized, and well thought out?
  • Does your video provide a clear and original story of how your failure helped you prepare for the future?

We will reach out to the winner of the scholarship via email approximately one month after the deadline.
